Playing catch up

Life is busy.

I have a few posts that I never published. Like 3 weeks ago. Baby brain is my reasoning.

Parker is now 6 weeks old. I need to document all of this at some point.

We need a new computer. Ours is so so slow and pretty much takes more time than I have available. So we can't use it.

My camera has 950+ pictures that need to be put on the computer that does not work or I am hoping a new one this weekend. Yay for tax return!

The weather in Michigan is spastic (like so many other states). Today it is supposed to be in the 70's and we have a tornado watch. Last weekend it snowed. It will be back in the 40’s this weekend. Crazy April weather.

Brendan's first soccer game was cancelled because of field conditions. That is what happens when all it does is rain.

Brendan and Lila both had a stomach bug. I am over puke. Thankfully it was a quick bug this time around.

Conversations with the kids 1

Brendan said he knew a bad word (other than stupid which is not a nice word in our home) that started with "s". Jason and I sat horrified waiting to see what would come out of his mouth as I told him there are words that are not nice to say. Since only a couple weeks ago he proudly exclaimed for all he kids to say "bitch" while at my mom's. He then told us this bad word ended in "up". 7 year old boys in school. Literally anything could come out of their mouths.

Lila got upset last night when she found out she couldn't grow up to be a boy like daddy. She said she couldn't eat pizza then. Not sure what the thought process for that was in the mind of a 3 year old.

Parker is 3.5 weeks old and still had relaxed and content from day one. Still just eating and sleeping. We are getting some alert stretches but he gets annoyed and would rather just go back to sleep. He celebrated his first Easter by dozing all day long.

The kids just had an argument. They were both going to tell on the other first. Fun way to start the morning.

We had beautiful weather over the weekend. Sunshine and in the 50’s. the next couple of days we are back in the 30's. April fools for us!
