A year in review

Each and every year it seems like time speeds up.  How does the old saying go "The days are slow but the year go fast"...

So very true.  The days sometime feel like they are crawling by with whiny kids and piles of laundry.  Then you blink and it is another year.  2011 one day and blink...now we are about to embark on 2012!  Here is a little review of how we spent the past year.

January
Celebrated Lila's 1st and Brendan's 5th birthday with a fun sledding party with lots of family and friends.  We were blessed with a beautiful blue sky day!

Brendan and I went with his preschool to the Detroit Zoo.

Brendan and Jason went to a Piston's game and Brendan got to take a shot out on the court.

February
The Great Blizzard of 2011 (sarcasm).  We were forecasted around 20+ inches but only ended up with 12.  It was quite the let down after all the hype.  I even stayed up to watch it.

We had a fun time at the Henwood's Superbowl party.

Lila started swim lessons with her bff, Drew.

March
We celebrated lots of birthdays this month (Nathan, Hailey, Xavier, Maya, and Duck!)

Lila played outside (walking/running) for the first time!

We went to the zoo again with friends.

Brendan and I went to Cranbrook for his field trip and learned about bats and dinosaurs.

Brendan starts spring soccer.

We celebrate Jack and Reegan's birthday.

We have our first warm day of the year (finally!) and play outside.

Happy 5 years Jason!

June
