I've been seeing these wreaths on pinterest and could not wait to try one. I wanted to make a wreath for the fall season to last until winter with rich colors. I found the perfect yarn at Jo-Ann Fabrics and the straw wreath. I had a coupon to use for each item and it cost me less than $4. Even my husband would approve:)
This wreath was truly very simple to make and only took me a couple of days to complete (worked on it on and off).
Next I added the embellishments. I had gotten coordinating felt colors and made flowers, my mom gave me some of the raffia to hang it, and I found the crocheted ribbon in a box of goodies from my grandma.
The finished look on our front door.
