- I am so glad all the politics stuff is over and the commercials are done! It would be wonderful if these politicians could just learn to work together.
- My pregnancy brain is taking over my life and I cannot remember anything.
- Lila is watching Dora while I type this
- I wore the same cami two days in a row...gross
- I'm excited my husband works late tonight so I don't have to think about making dinner
- I thought I was having hot flashes this morning but I realized someone bumped the thermostat and it was set at 72. In our small house it felt like a thousand degrees.
- I trained Lila to yell at the squirrel when it jumps into our bird feeder. We want to feed the birds not my nemesis the big fat squirrel.
- I'm still "technically" on bed rest and I have 3 Thirty-One parties this week. I'm being safe and have had no contractions in at least 10 days. Plus after my ultrasound yesterday I know my doctor will lift my restrictions. I just don't see him until Friday and I'm making my husband carry my stuff for me:)

I am SO glad the election is over! Can we get our regular scheduled programming back now?! Geez! Oh and pregnancy brain! I don't miss that!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen Nate ran for state rep two years ago, he lost (by only 133 votes) to our current state rep. But the cool thing is that we are really good friends with him now. We made a decision to honor each other during the whole campaign so that God would be glorified (we're obviously both Christians). This year, when Nate ran for County Commissioner (and won), we went to our state reps campaign party and he had Nate's signs up right next to his. Politics doesn't have to get ugly if people are truly seeking God's will above all. Unfortunately, this rarely happens.
ReplyDeleteAwesome story Heidi! Congrats again to your husband!!!
